So, today, Tuesday, December 23, we’re open here until 4 PM. Come see us by “APPOINTMENT ONLY”, just call or text 705-690-0361 when you turn onto Penage Lake Road and we’ll meet you here so you can pick out the perfect tree for the Holiday season! 🎄🎄🎄

We began growing Christmas Trees in May of 2016. This is our third season to be open for the "cut-your-own" Christmas Tree experience for you and your families. We have a lot of fun contributing to a new family tradition! The first field we planted, Dasher, (yes, they are all named after the infamous Reindeer of lore), has many trees ready to harvest. Dasher, has really enjoyed all the attention, and Dancer and Prancer are eager to be part of the fun too but we have to wait one more year yet. Kind of like a reindeer game!

We have grown the trees without herbicides or pesticides while endeavoring to have them thrive by irrigation and water management. All of the trees are Canaan Fir which are especially suitable for growing in our northern climate as they bud later than other species in the spring, thereby reducing risk of frost damage in our often long springs. We have some beautiful trees, ranging from 3 and 4 foot up to 6+, waiting to be a part of your holiday traditions!

Each tree on Dasher is marked with a coloured ribbon:

Green - I am a MAGNIFICENT Christmas Tree! Outstanding in my field! $95
Red - I am as cute as can be! I want to be YOUR Christmas Tree! $75
Purple - I am a little "quirky" as Christmas Trees grow! But if you choose me, I am sure you can make me GLOW! $50
Orange - Look at ME! I am just wee! I want to be a MAGNIFICENT Christmas Tree, so leave me be and we shall see!

Have fun finding the best tree for your family!

What you need to know:

This is an agricultural property and the ground can be uneven, wear appropriate footwear
Hand saws will be provided as well as assistance in cutting your tree, if requested
You must provide means of transport - tie downs, tarp or such for vehicle roof protection, etc. (the trees will not be enshrouded in mesh)
Cocoa and water will be provided
Children must be adult supervised at all times
